Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park Discount Coupons
1:06 PMIt's nearing Christmas season and one of the go-to country during the holiday season is Hong Kong. Most people go to Hong Kong for shopping and dining. But if you're with your kids and/or friends. HK Disneyland or Ocean Park will be part of your itinerary.
And if you're like me, I enjoy discount coupons. Although, I'm a newbie compared to some of the people I know. xD I've always been quite hesitant when I see discounts online because for some reason, I feel like there's more to it than just the "you save %%!".
Alas, funds are limited so we gotta do what we gotta do to save as much as we can.

To get to Disneyland if you're coming from Causeway Bay,
Take MTR Causeway Bay > Central > Transfer Tung Chun Line > Sunny Bay > Disneyland Resort EST. 45min.

We usually buy our return tickets before entering to avoid the lines at night when everyone's in a hurry to get back to their hotel/place.
Try to get there early because there's bound to be a lot of people in line. But don't forget to get to the "AutoMagic Tickets" Machine near the right side of the entrance to get your entrance ticket first. There will be instruction on the voucher that you'll get from the Klook site once you purchased online.
Check the weather, last time we went there it was too hot. The sun burns your skin and it's better to have an umbrella and a sunblock for protection. Umbrella, obviously, can be really useful as well when it rains.
Food is normally pricey in amusement parks. A lunch can cost you about HK$120+

Find the ticket booths for the Ocean Park Express, take Route 629 - Buy the round trip ticket. There's no bus ticket booth in Ocean Park.
When you get to the Ocean Park Entrance, go to the left side and show your voucher to the Ocean Park staff. Take note that this is also a huge place and most of the time you will be walking around with no shade. Again, umbrella and sunblock are your friends during summer time.

If you're torn in choosing where to go, Disneyland is mostly attraction-style and plays. If you're into intense rides, you'd have better luck in Ocean Park. Cute animals are a plus!!
I love animals and rides and I'm also a Disney girl..so yeah..just decide among the people you're going with and you'll be fine. =]

Before buying your discount tickets, check your airline. Some airline tickets gives you access to Ocean Park for free or have promos for Disneyland (esp. Cathay Airline). Not just airlines, but Hotels and Tours as well. So don't forget to ask them first before buying just to be sure.
